Scooterpeg is the only way to store scooters off the floor and out of the way. As a bonus, once hung, the scooter deck becomes a handy shelf for shoes.It’s a simple solution to a daily annoyance, particularly in urban areas, where space is limited. Scooterpeg is a little thing that makes a big difference.

Idea Reality has taken the ButterPod from a sketched idea through to a manufacturable product. The ButterPod takes a chunk of butter straight from the fridge and with a few shakes it is spreadable. The design incorporates a unique innovative heat source that when combined with the kinetic energy of shaking creates a softened butter. The butterPod is also a good looking butter dish suitable for the breakfast table.

FlexSmart – Self winding cable reel for mobile phone chargers. Unlike other sprung cable reels you can insert any phone cable into the reel and replace with a different cable if required without needing a new FlexSmart. Designed to fit the new Nokia Lumia range, Idea Reality took this design from fag packet sketch to fully working prototype in a matter of weeks.

A modern take on the traditional “Claymore style mine”. Constructed using injection moulding and modern lightweight plastics. The design offers deployment flexibility through adjustable clips and legs that double as blast radius guides when connected to the sight. The unit is free-standing and adaptable to suit a variety of military requirements.

Coole Solutions Ltd engaged Idea Reality to assist in the development of the innovative new Slip-it bra clip design.

An adjustable clip that is easy to detach whilst remaining secure and flexible in use.

The clip evolved from initial prototypes in metal to a design for mass production injection moulding in plastic. Variations in the design were explored and rapid prototyping was used to test the designs.

Richard Farleigh from BBC’s Dragon’s Den was so impressed with the idea that he offered up the required seed money and expertise to get this design manufactured and into the market.
